June is SO NOT my favorite month

You know the good thing about breaking Katie? You do, and then you go on. You learn that you're tougher than you ever thought, and you're humbled all at the same time because of that strength. Don't fight it, let it come - it will no matter what after all, and you can control the "when" of it for a while, but letting it happen and going through it is the only way you're ever going to really be able to heal. It took me 15 years to finally see that with my own circumstances, and now I can move on.

I think you should go to the concert, watch it happily, "take him with you" in a way... you know? Enjoy it for the both of you. But if you still don't want to go because you want to just be alone, ask yourself what he 'd say if you asked him what to do ... maybe the trick is just starting to try to live with your perception like this when it gets especially hard on you? Sorry for the unsolicited advice, I'm no expert on anything, just hoping to help, if only a little.
